FRANKLIN, TN — “He’s 42. He sells insurance. This has to stop,” says exhausted wife Rachel Jennings commenting on a growing family crisis.  Rachel, along with 12-year-old son Carter, formally requested that dad-coach Todd Jennings immediately cease and desist all use of Gen Z slang during team practices and post-game huddles.

“It started with him saying Carter’s cleats had ‘drip,’” Rachel recalled, visibly shaken. “Then he called the orange slices ‘bussin.’ By the third week, he was yelling ‘no cap!’ after routine grounders. It’s humiliating.”

Carter, a shortstop and innocent bystander in the linguistic carnage, said it’s affecting team morale. “I just want to play baseball. Yesterday he told me my swing was ‘lowkey fire,’ and I had to pretend not to hear him.”

The final straw came after a close win, when Todd attempted to hit the gritty in front of the dugout. “And for the love,” Rachel said, “don’t ever do that gritty dance thing again. My secondhand embarrassment peaked.”

Sources confirm other parents have quietly joined the movement, with one anonymous dad admitting, “He said my kid had ‘rizz.’ I thought that was a medical condition.”

As of press time, Coach Todd was seen watching TikTok tutorials titled “How to Speak Teen 2025” and mumbling something about renaming the team “The Vibe Kings.”
